All Products made by The Eggless Baker are subject to the following Terms and Conditions.

Allergens

Our baked goods contain, or may come into contact with; soya, gluten, milk, nuts, sulphites and sesame.

Please note our kitchen is pure vegetarian, but milk is used on the premises. 

It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us prior to the confirmation of their order of any allergy requirements and to inform their guests of all allergy information regarding our bakes. For further information of any of our ingredients, please contact us at theegglessbaker@mail.com.

Please be aware that some food colourings may have an adverse effect on the behaviour of children. 

Cake Designs 

We will try our best to fulfil any requests, however any products asked to be replicated from a picture or photo made by any other cake maker, can only be reproduced by us as our interpretation of that product and will not always be an exact reproduction of the product in the picture or photo. Please note it is not always possible to replicate colours exactly.

Transporting Cakes

Cakes should be placed on a flat surface in the car, such as the boot or foot well. Please do not place cakes on car seats to transport them as the surface is uneven and will cause cakes to glide forward towards the seat and could cause damage. Care should be taken when driving to keep the cake steady and temperature should be kept cool as much as possible.

Once the cake has left our premises it is no longer our responsibility so please be careful when transporting and handling. 

Deposits & Payments

When placing orders with us a minimal deposit of 50% is required to hold your date. Full payment is due on collection or before. All deposits are non-refundable but may be returned at our discretion and subject to availability. If no deposit or final payment is received the order will not be placed or cancelled. 

Where we have made an order to the best of our ability, if the customer does not accept the finished Product, the deposit will not be refunded. The Customer can choose to pay the remainder and take the Product/s or leave them at no extra cost.

Delivery

We offer delivery for certain destinations and orders. Delivery is charged at our discretion

We will ensure your order reaches you in good condition. Once delivered, it is then up to the customer to store and care for the cake as per our instructions. If anything is to happen to the cake after this exchange, we cannot be liable for any damages.

A delivery date and time will be agreed by both parties, and if the customer is not at the given location at this time and date, and we are not able to contact the customer, the product will be transported back with our premises and the customer will need to make arrangements for its collection.

Photography

We take pride in all the cakes and treats we make so we frequently take and post photographs of our finished products to our social media accounts and website, we therefore reserve the right to use any images of products made by us.

Damage

No responsibility can be taken by The Eggless Baker for any damage once the cake has been passed to the customer or venue. The Eggless Baker will not be liable should the customer believe there are any issues with the cake once it has been accepted.

If a third party collects the cake on your behalf, they will be asked to ensure they are happy with it’s condition before it is released to them, any damage caused to it thereafter will not be The Eggless Baker’s responsibility. 

Postponing an event

If, for any reason the event is required to be postponed, please contact us immediately.

We will try our hardest to accommodate your needs, but the new date proposed will be subject to availability.

Cancelling an order

If you would like to cancel an order, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. Deposits are non-refundable, however in some circumstances may be refunded at our discretion.

Payment is still required for any and all expenses already incurred on behalf of the finished product.

Tiered Cakes and other orders above £150 need to be cancelled a month before for a full refund as it is not always possible for us to get other customers at such short notice and that availability given to you would have been at the cost of turning other customers away.  

In the unlikely event that we should need to cancel your order due to unforeseen circumstances outside of our control such as, but not limited to, natural disasters, accidents, fire, adverse weather conditions, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown, obstruction of any private or public highway we will not be held responsible for being unable to perform.

 

Under exceptional circumstances, such as serious illness, if The Eggless Baker is unable to complete your order, we will give you as much notice as possible and will refund any payment already made to us.

 

Complaints

In the unlikelihood that you should need to make a complaint, this should be done within 24 hours of receiving your order. The Eggless Baker will not accept liability for any complaints made after this time. All our cakes and desserts are baked to order and we do not accept returns on any of our products. Refunds, credit notes or a replacement order to the same value will be given only in the event that you receive the incorrect product or if the products are shown to be of unsatisfactory quality. 

Any refunds will be paid within 30 days

Your Statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions. The content of this document is for your general information and use only, this information produced is subject to change.
